I am currently building a boat to break a Guinness record for “Fastest crossing of the Atlantic by solar power”…

One of the Parameters they gave me was “The battery for your attempt must be completely empty at the start of the attempt. The guidelines have been updated to be clearer, and have been forwarded to you. You can start charging the battery once the clock starts for your attempt.”

That being said, I am wanting to be sure that I am not overtaxing the batteries by fully discharging the batteries this one time, for this particular attempt…
